So we just got in from the slopes here on Day 2. So far we've been pretty spoiled by the weather. It's been sunny around 30* both days. Yesterday the wind wasn't too bad but today it picked up a bit, as illustrated by my video (see link below). We got a little more adventurous today and went a little more through the back country and hit some jumps and what not. We also climbed to the top of one of the peaks which was 13,000ft. The climb up was quite miserable but well worth it once we started down. I'm getting pretty tired of typing so I'll just leave you with some pictures of us and the scenery.

ReplyDeletewell we got fogged in sacramento today. Don't recommend it....lousy driving. But the mountains around Nevada City have snow and the view is pretty good above the fog. No wind either. Looks like you're having a wonderful journey. Can't wait to see vail.
